First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Warby Parker.
Customer Experience Associate
I got an email from someone at the company to schedule a phone interview. The person called exactly when they said they would, and they were nice but didn't seem super engaged. The questions were pretty standard, mostly about my interest in Warby and my hobbies. A few days later, I got an email saying they had a lot of really good applicants and I wouldn't be moving on. For this customer service job, I think it's key to just seem friendly and enthusiastic on the phone. Maybe I over-prepared and didn't come across as relaxed enough. They seem to want someone who sounds great on the phone!
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working for Warby?
- Could you elaborate on your interests outside of work?
Customer Experience Associate
For this job, there was a phone interview and then an in-person interview. It wasn't super hard, and they made sure to keep things laid-back so you could get a sense of the company culture.
- Can you share a funny fact about yourself?
Customer Experience Associate
I put in my application online on the website and then heard back from someone in the NY office a couple weeks later. They wanted to do a phone interview. About a week and a half after that, I was asked to come to Nashville for an in-person interview. I talked to two different people. The first one was really nice and seemed interested in what I was saying. The second person, though, seemed bored and like they didn't want to be there, which made the rest of the interview kind of weird. They sent me an email a week later saying I didn't get the job.
- Can you share one of your biggest strengths?
