after about 3 rounds of speaking to different people on the team I was given an assignment and after that was successful there were 2 more rounds with leadership before an offer.

I applied online and heard back from a Talent Sourcer who set up a phone call with the recruiter. The recruiter asked about my background, but I don't remember any specific in-depth questions. I was surprised not to move on to an interview with a hiring manager. After two weeks, I followed up and was told the hiring manager hadn't decided who to interview yet. The next day, I got an email saying I wasn't moving forward. I suspect my SaaS experience being in a different industry played a role in their decision.

I had a terrible interview experience with WalkMe a few years back around their IPO. I initially applied for an Account Manager role, but they later decided I wasn't a good fit and suggested I switch to Professional Services. I ended up going through the entire interview process again for that role, only to be rejected. The main issue was the significant time investment required for project work for both positions, which I found excessive for a company I didn't work for. I felt their culture and product didn't justify such an demanding interview process.
