First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Walking Company Holdings.
Business Manager
There was hardly any communication during the hiring process. It seems like an easy job to get, but be aware they tend to oversell it. I don't really recommend this job. They'll tell you there's potential to make a lot of money, and you can if you're in a high-volume store. They also claim they promote from within, but in my experience, that's not usually the case.

Assistant Manager
I put in my application online and they got back to me in about a week. The interview itself was pretty good. They do have some really great health benefits. The only bummer was the salary offer was way too low.
- What's your biggest strength to offer the team, and what's your biggest weakness?
Assistant Manager
I was actually solicited for the opportunity. The interview itself was a long one with several pages of questions. Dress professionally, and telling them that this is a career for you (with interest in advancement) rather than just a job is a huge sell. Can't hurt to mention a story about personal initiative or motivating others either. HAVE INSTANCES PREPARED.
- Tell me about a difficult situation you faced and how you handled it.
