Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Walker & Dunlop.
Intern
It was a pretty simple process. Mostly behavioral questions, no technical ones. It felt more like a chat than a standard interview. They just wanted to see if you're friendly and someone they could work with.
- Could you introduce yourself?
Intern
Walker and Dunlop's interview process involved a couple of behavioral interviews. First up was an HR representative, and then I spoke with my potential manager. I'd suggest using the STAR method for answering questions, it really helps. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
Intern
Overall a great interview process. There were 3 rounds of interviews and it was 99% behavioral questions. It felt more like a conversation than a typical interview. The whole thing took about a month from the first phone screen to getting the offer.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
