Cashier
Standard interview process, I got a call and then came in for an interview where I was asked typical questions. I felt I did okay but didn't get the job, possibly because I was nervous.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- What makes you want to work here?
Retail Assistant
Started with online testing, then they looked at my CV and a standard form. After that, I had an interview, which was typical for retail. The interview focused on on-the-spot skills, not really past experience, which was good. Overall, the process felt fair and covered most retail skills. I heard back from the recruitment manager about a week after the interview.
- Given a timed activity, list of items around the shop, asked to find them and put them in a basket and return to the front of the shop floor
Shop Assistant
We had the interview in a small room in the back, and there were two people interviewing me. They asked the usual questions. It was pretty fast because they had a lot of other people waiting in the staff room.
- Can you tell me about your customer-facing experience?
