Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wachsman.
Associate
So I initially applied for a different role, and the interview process involved two calls and a written assessment. The assessment was super fun and gave me a good sense of what Wachsman is all about. The calls were basically enjoyable chats with a Snr. Consultant and an Associate Director on the first call, and then an Executive Director and Managing Director on the second. Both were tough but really good experiences, and they made me even more interested in working there.
- Tell us about your media background.
- What's your understanding of the blockchain/crypto space?
- Describe your approach to solving problems for clients.
Associate Director
It was easy, comfortable conversations with smart people. It made the position much more appealing than I first thought. I left each chat feeling good and excited about the job. I have nothing but good things to say about the people I talked to and how the process was handled.
- Can you describe your approach to managing junior team members?
Associate
I had a screener interview and then a couple more interviews. They gave me a writing assignment, which I thought was pretty standard compared to other places. The people were nice, but the last interview was definitely harder with the questions they asked. Overall, everyone seemed cool, but the crypto market is pretty risky right now.
- What are your news sources?
- What draws you to Wachsman?
- What's prompting your move from your current agency?
