You first go to the VXI office to complete the initial application on their computers, which is straightforward. Afterward, you'll need to call an automated system that records your responses to a few questions. The following day, a supervisor calls to schedule an in-person interview. This interview is quite easy and relaxed; they ask you some questions and give you a paper with questions to gauge your personality and experience.

First, get ready by practicing answering common interview questions. Think of real examples to show your skills and successes. Also, prepare your own questions to ask the employer. Next, research the company so you're ready for "What do you know about this company?" Find out the interviewer's name and use it. If you don't know it, call ahead and ask. Try to connect what you know about the company to your answers. Then, get dressed appropriately for the company's type of firm, make sure your interview attire is neat and tidy. Bring a nice portfolio with copies of your resume, and a pen and paper for notes. Be on time, which means five to ten minutes early. If you need to, drive to the interview location beforehand to know the route and travel time. During the interview, try to relax and stay as calm as possible. Take a moment to regroup. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Listen to the whole question before answering and pay attention so you don't forget it! Try to connect what you know about the company when answering questions. When talking about your career accomplishments, match them to what the company needs. Finally, always follow up with a thank you note within 24 hours (email is fine) to show you're still interested. If you interviewed with multiple people, send each one a personal thank you note.

So first I had to go meet this lady who would get things rolling. Then I was put at a desk to answer some questions and show what I can do. After waiting about 2 hours, I finally got to do a 1 on 1 interview. They initially said that was the first part, but then I didn't get to do the second part because they said I needed at least 6 months of experience.
