The hiring process at VTS company involved 3 rounds: an aptitude test, a technical interview, and an HR interview. The aptitude test covered reasoning and verbal skills. The technical interview focused on logical questions. The HR interview included a self-introduction and discussion about goals, abilities, and achievements, tailored to the individual.

Coding Technical Behavioral System Design

VTS has a good interview process, I felt comfortable. Everyone was smart and welcoming. It starts with a phone screen, then a technical phone screen, and finally a multi-interview virtual onsite. The technical phone screen was fun and pretty simple. Since they use TDD, the problem is broken down into small parts. If you don't know TDD, research it. I recommend thinking through your solutions aloud. It's open-ended and shows your thinking. The virtual onsite has four interviews back-to-back with a 30-minute break in the middle, which was around lunchtime for me. You'll meet with a product manager, an engineering manager, and other engineers. All questions were typical: behavioral, basic algorithms, discussing past projects, and system design. The two-hour pair-coding session might seem long, but it gives you time to think. The interviewers weren't trying to give super complex problems. All interviewers were helpful, considerate, and empathetic. It would be better if the potential team (PM, Designer, other Engineers) was part of the process. Meeting the team was great though. It was a wonderful experience and I'd apply again!

Behavioral

VTS reached out to me through LinkedIn. I did my research on the Company and was excited about the opportunities. I had an initial phone interview which went well, and I sent a well-crafted thank you note afterward. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them. This lack of professionalism and consideration might indicate how they treat their employees. It's surprising that companies assign their least qualified staff to screen applicants.
