Software Development Engineer in Test
Applied online through the company's portal. The entire process lasted about 4 weeks. It started with an initial phone conversation with HR, followed by a coding exercise/interview. Then, there was a phone screen with the hiring manager. After that, I had an on-site interview with 5-6 engineers. Finally, there was a phone interview with the director of engineering.
- Tell me about deep development concepts.
- How do you approach problem-solving?
- Describe your experience with development solution architecture.
Software Development Engineer in Test
Applied and got an email from the recruiter. The recruiter sends a coding test where you need to complete two or three coding questions in an hour. It wasn't too hard. After submitting and if the results are good, the recruiter calls and arranges an interview with the manager. If that passes, there will be another round of interviews with the directors and developer team leads.
- Some logic/maths questions asked.
- Overall views on testing methodology were discussed.
- And experience was also discussed.
Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
I had one coding challenge round that lasted 80 minutes and had 3 questions. I managed to solve 2 of them but couldn't get to the third one. Unfortunately, I got a rejection email within a couple of hours, without any specific feedback.
- A question about string manipulation.
- A question involving insertion sort.
- A question asking to identify the maximum possible 3 digit number.
