I was contacted by a technical recruiter on LinkedIn who seemed to have actually looked at my profile before reaching out, which was nice. This led me to apply for the role. The interview process had 4 main stages. It started with a quick call with the recruiter, then a chat with the hiring manager. After that, I had to complete a take-home technical assignment to demonstrate my understanding of their API solutions. The final stage was a 3-hour block of interviews with the hiring manager and team members. During this final series, I was asked about the assignment I completed. They did include breaks between interviews in that 3-hour block. I received an offer in under 48 hours after the final interviews.

The interview process was very smooth and fast, and I finished 2 interviews without any issues. However, the 3rd interview never happened. I joined a call, but no one showed up. I contacted my recruiter, and he told me I didn't join the correct call. My recruiter was talking about rescheduling my interview while he was wondering if it was due to technical difficulties. A few days later, my recruiter told me that they decided to go with an internal transfer. Instead of telling me they wanted to cancel an interview, they just stood me up for one hour. It was very unprofessional. This was an interview done by a Manager at Nexmo in the US team. I won't recommend joining this team.

After sending my resume, I heard back pretty fast. The TA Partner had a 30-minute chat with me, where they gave a great overview of the company and the job. Mostly, they asked about my past jobs and what I'm looking for in a new role. Then, there was a 45-minute video call with the Customer Care Manager and a Deputy Manager. We covered my old responsibilities, my skills, and what I know about technology. Both chats felt pretty relaxed and professional.
