I applied on the website and sent in my resume and cover letter. Then, I had a group interview with two administrators and the department chair. They didn't look at my teaching portfolio beforehand. I went home and emailed a thank you right away, and I got a call almost immediately with a job offer. This was just a week before school started. After that, I had a drug test. I actually worked for a month without pay because it took so long to get me into the system.
