I applied for a job through Gupy and about two days after applying, HR contacted me on WhatsApp. We scheduled a Teams interview for another day. The recruiter was very friendly and explained the role and benefits clearly. However, I didn't hear back after the interview. From the process on Gupy, I realized I wasn't selected, but it's been over two months and there's been no official communication. I think they could at least send a message saying I wasn't selected, instead of leaving me hanging.

The interview went well, the downside is that there are many interviews and they have high expectations for junior roles. Otherwise, the interview was smooth and I was treated well. Of course, it's a big company, but it didn't seem like they had the full vision of what would be needed for the position.

I was contacted by a C-Level headhunter via LinkedIn. The process was managed through the Gupy platform. I had an initial chat and felt very comfortable. I reused results from previous tests as I couldn't retake them. The next step was a shortlist with the manager, where I had to provide a professional summary (up to 15 lines) via WhatsApp. Based on this, the manager would decide who moved to the final interview. However, the recruiter repeatedly ignored my messages on WhatsApp, even though she had encouraged contact. The process stalled for two months with no updates on Gupy. After three months, I found out I wasn't selected. It felt very unempathetic. I've gone through other multinational selection processes on Gupy where recruiters were much more empathetic. Companies should use Gupy smartly, and remember that AI assists but doesn't solely decide who is 'better' based on an algorithm.
