Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at VNS Health.
Registered Nurse
The interview was great. I was ghosted by the recruiter, so I reached out to them via email. I also reached out to the manager who interviewed me, but got nothing back. Total radio silence!
- What makes you want to join VNS?
Nurse
It was a nice interview experience. The HR people and recruiters were friendly. I was asked common questions like why I chose nursing, my strengths and weaknesses, and then many scenario-based questions. Finally, I had to complete a form with scenario questions.
- How have you made a difference in a patient's life?
Registered Nurse
It was a really quick process. They hired RNs fast, had us take a test, and then reviewed it. If you passed the test, you moved on to the interview. The nurse manager was super friendly and expected me to know my stuff, but was also really nice and took the time to get to know me. About three weeks later, she still remembered my name and what I told her I was up to before my orientation started. She really paid attention and seemed to care.
