Intern
First it was an informal phone call, to see if I was available for training from Monday to Friday. But it was class schedules so I rejected it

I went through an initial recruiter call where she told me about two clients to research for the next interview. Since it's an internship, she and my referral stressed how important it is to show I'm eager to learn. For my second interview, I was ready to talk about the two clients, but the interviewers seemed confused and sarcastic, saying something like 'uhhh those are two of many clients we have…?' They also seemed unimpressed that I wanted to learn. It's an internship, so why would I know everything? I mean, I have my own skills, but it felt a bit off, maybe even subtly misogynistic in their tone, I don't know. They just talked about how everyone is just a cog in the corporate machine, implying my eagerness to learn was naive. It wasn't even that difficult an interview; they didn't ask me anything significant about my creative process or how I handle people. Honestly, it felt like a quota interview and they already knew they weren't interested. I'm not sure. I remember finishing the Teams call and thinking, 'what was that…?' Obviously, I didn't get the job. I messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn to see if I could get feedback on what went wrong and how to improve, but she read it and didn't reply. I know many talented people apply here, but if I'm given the wrong information to prepare, I don't know how to succeed here. Just felt gross and unnecessarily restrictive. Oh well!

Intern
The thirty minute interview process was fine. They offered me a job and I accepted, but would not send the paperwork over. I get a phone call one day and they tell me that they had a client pull out and no longer have the budget for me. Not transparent through the weeks of me asking for paperwork. I declined other interviews and offers in the process. Will not be working for them anytime soon.
