Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at VMG Health.
Business Valuation Analyst
I applied online and then met a recruiter at a career fair. They scheduled an in-person interview for me a week or two later. It started with two to three quick 'get to know me' questions, then moved on to 3-4 technical questions.
- Can you explain how the financial statements are connected?
- Could you guide me through an account and explain its effect on the financial statements?
Valuation Analyst
It was a 30-minute call with two people: one from recruiting and one from the team. They mostly asked behaviorally-based questions related to the job responsibilities.
- Can you describe your experience working with financial statements?
Business Valuation Analyst
Started with a basic phone call interview, mostly covering resume walkthroughs and interest in healthcare. Then moved to a Super Day which was pretty chill, focused on meeting the team. It included 8 interviews, each about 20 minutes long. Questions involved simple Excel tasks, leadership scenarios, and a deeper dive into my resume, plus a few brain teasers.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to manage competing priorities simultaneously?
- Estimate the number of water bottles needed to fill AT&T Stadium.
