Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vivo (Telefônica Brasil).
Customer Experience Representative
I went through 3 interviews. The first was with HR to talk about the job and the company, it was pretty relaxed and usually not a eliminatory stage. The second was with another person from HR, where I had to talk about my personal and professional life in detail. The third stage was an interview with the same HR person and the hiring manager, focusing on personal and professional points. There was also a dynamic where they presented a problem and HR acted as the client, and we candidates had to be the attendants. It was a problem without a solution, intended to check how I handle customer service and pressure.
- Why Vivo?
- What will you bring to the company?
- Do you have availability for shifts?
Call Center Agent
First, I was called for a meeting to be introduced to the company and the job details. Then, I was called for an interview titled 'group dynamics' which took place on Teams with more than 10 people. It wasn't a good experience because the HR clearly wasn't interested in the candidates; there was a lot of effort from each candidate but they weren't properly heard as HR didn't even look at the phone camera, focusing only on the computer. Also, I was asked about my availability, but even so, it wasn't respected, I had to say I was free all afternoon to have 'more chances of being called'.
- Tell me about your professional experiences.
- Could you tell me a little about yourself?
- Do you have a suitable place for remote work where you live?
Call Center Agent
The selection process was really dynamic. The interview was of medium difficulty. I enjoyed participating, but I wasn't interested in continuing because of the salary, even though it was tough during the pandemic. Working in a call center is very exhausting.
- What is your desired salary?
