First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vivid Resourcing.
Recruiter
I went through a pretty thorough interview process with Vivid. It started with two phone calls with their internal recruiter. Then, I had an in-person interview with the director of their Benelux offices, followed by a second interview with the person who would have been my direct manager. Things seemed to be going really well initially; they told me the company was very positive about me and we even talked about a start date. They also assured me multiple times that knowing Dutch wasn't a must for the job. But, after they said I'd hear back midweek, I didn't get any news for over a week. When I followed up to ask what was up, they said that even though I was a great fit, they decided not to move forward because they actually preferred someone with Dutch knowledge. This was a surprise and a letdown, especially since it went against what they'd told me throughout. I asked them to reconsider and also requested written feedback, but they just ignored my follow-up. So, while the interviews started out great, the lack of clear communication, the sudden change in what they wanted, and then the unprofessional silence at the end really left me with a bad feeling.

UX/UI Designer
I was asked to schedule an intro interview via email, but the recruiter called me unexpectedly outside of my suggested availability. It would have been nice to prepare. The recruiter then mentioned they were going on vacation and their colleague would take over. The client interview went well. Afterwards, a recruiter's colleague called on time, gave brief positive feedback, and asked follow-up questions. Shortly after, another colleague called with the same script, unaware his teammate had already spoken to me, causing some confusion. Nobody followed up with the final outcome, which made me feel like internal communication was lacking. I then started getting a lot of emails from different recruiters about irrelevant positions, which felt like a waste of time. I also have no visibility into my profile to understand why I'm getting these offers.

Software Engineer
The interview process involved an initial interview with Vivid Resourcing, followed by interviews with the client company. We discussed technical expertise and the client's expertise. After a two-month evaluation period, the client provided very positive feedback. The next step was to receive an HR offer. However, after this, I lost all contact with Vivid Resourcing and received no further information. They were unreachable by phone or email, which was very disrespectful. I strongly advise staying away from Vivid Resourcing, as I believe they only see candidates as a source of profit and do not provide feedback if there are any issues. It was not possible to reach them either by phone or by e-mail. This behaviour is very disrespectful. It ıs strongly advised to keep away from Vivid Resourcing. I think they see the candidate employees only as the ones from whom they can make money. In case of any negative issue (?), candidate not worthy to get a short feedback.
