First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vivial.
Digital Account Coordinator
The interview process felt pretty standard. They initially mentioned a January start date, but after I got the offer, they said it would be pushed to the end of February, which wasn't ideal but okay. About a week and a half before my new start date, I hadn't heard anything about orientation or my first day. I contacted a manager I'd interviewed with and found out the company had been bought out a few weeks prior, and the new hires for this role no longer had jobs. They said we could re-apply with the new company if we wanted. Future job seekers should avoid this company and the one that bought it, as it reflects poorly on both.

Content Editor
Applied for a content editor role at Vivial in July 2019. A recruiter got in touch quick and asked about salary first. Then, a phone chat with the senior manager happened; it was chill and went good. I got an editing test to do in 2 days, which I sent back in one day. It was just a simple fix-the-paragraphs test for errors and flow. A few days later, I got an email saying they were going with other people. They didn't even mention the edit test. I asked for feedback and the recruiter sent back three sentences. It wasn't a great experience. If I'd seen the Glassdoor reviews first, I wouldn't have bothered.

Digital Account Coordinator
It was the quickest interview process ever. A recruiter called and set up a screening interview, then I moved to the next round and had an in-house interview scheduled. Turns out, it was a super day where I interviewed one-on-one with three different managers (two from sales and one from the branch). I also got to shadow someone currently in the account coordinator role. It felt like a culture fit screen. I got an offer the very next day, and there was no salary negotiation.

Graphic Designer
I was called in to visit the company's facilities, where they informed me about the specific position I was referred for and the type of test they would be administering. This initial phase involved an outsourced service that conducted psychological and general skills assessments, including an English test, which was challenging as it's not my native language. Following these tests, I was directed to proceed directly to the company's office to complete a design test. This test required me to compose and lay out diverse content.
