Sales Representative
After you apply, they'll usually call to set up a quick phone chat. If that goes well, you'll do a group interview with a few other people. They'll tell you more about the company and the job during that group chat. If you're still keen, they'll ask you to write a short letter explaining why you're a good fit. Then, they'll call to schedule your last interview with the hiring team. They might say you'll hear back in about a week, but I've heard back in just a couple of days.
- Tell me about your past work experience and your proudest achievements.
- How do you manage a demanding yet flexible schedule?
- What keeps you motivated and productive when you don't have direct oversight?
Outside Sales Representative
I got through to the very last interview for the company. The process was really detailed. The first interview was a group interview. Everyone was nice, and I had no issues until the end. All interviews were in person, and there were four of them. Each one lasted an hour, and I had to drive to their office and take time off work for them. In the end, I wasn't selected, and I just got a generic email saying so without any feedback, even when I asked. Asking someone to drive for four in-person interviews and then not responding at all felt a bit strange, but maybe that's just me!
- Can you share your biggest non-work-related accomplishment from the past year?
Outside Sales Representative
The interview process started with a phone screen, followed by a group interview, and then two individual interviews. I felt the group interview was a waste of time and could have been handled in a single solo interview. The company scheduled 3-hour in-person interviews during regular business hours, which required taking time off from my current job, indicating a lack of consideration for employee time. The role was described as requiring 50-60 hours per week, implying work is expected on days off. There was too much interview time for this role.
- What does ownership mean to you?
