I had a really good first call with Toni, who was super professional and nice. She really took the time to get to know my background and it seemed like my values were a good fit for the company. She also explained clearly what to expect next. But, the next part wasn't quite what she described. The online interview had a few questions and felt a bit different from what I was told. Some of the questions felt repetitive and when I asked for more info, they didn't give much context. Since I'm autistic, clear and structured communication is really important to me, and I felt that wasn't fully considered. Still, I answered the questions directly. At the end, I asked if there was anything else I could do to make my application stronger and they said I interviewed well. Sadly, I didn't get the job and didn't get much feedback. I'm grateful for the chance, but more openness and consistency in the process would make it better for everyone. Since Vitality really focuses on its values, I'd expect those to show up more consistently during the interviews and from the people representing the company.

It was a 3 stage interview process. First was an initial screening interview where I had to explain myself and projects I have worked on. Then there were some technical questions and a take home assignment with SQL, python and pyspark questions. The final interview involved explaining the take home assignment.

I had an interview via zoom. I'd let them know beforehand that my kids would be present during the call (since the woman I was speaking with apparently couldn't do any other time). I was told it would be okay. It went as expected, with distractions and difficulty. Despite this, I felt I understood the role well and made it clear how I could fit in and that I was more than qualified. Even so, I was completely ghosted afterward. I don't mind not getting the job, but some feedback would have been nice, and a follow-up email in response to mine would have been courteous at the least.

Behavioral Other

I was sent a link to book an interview and got a confirmation email, but it had no info about who I'd be talking to. The interviewer just jumped in without introducing herself or her role. She also mentioned someone by name a lot without explaining who that person was or how this role would interact with them. I had to ask at the end about her role and the other person she kept mentioning. After the interview, there was no follow-up email about the outcome. It was a really poor experience, and I wouldn't recommend applying based on this. I'll remember this for the future.
