Had a phone screen with the recruiter, then a main interview with two managers over Zoom. It took about two weeks to get a decision. The process was mostly behavioral questions. They were very communicative outside of the interviews. It was one of the smoother processes I've been through.

The interview process started with a phone call from HR who was very pleasant. By the end of the day, I was informed I would proceed to the next stage. The second round involved a 75-minute Zoom session featuring a logic test and a task to create a writing sample using historical data. Although the assessment itself was straightforward, it felt lengthy for an unpaid task, especially since a writing sample was already part of the initial application. Feedback was delayed as the decision-makers were out of town. The final round was a longer interview with the CEO and a Partner, which also went well and felt easy. They indicated a decision would be made the following week. Unfortunately, I never received a response after multiple follow-ups. Initially, HR provided updates regarding the team's absence, but eventually, all communication ceased without notification of the outcome. While I understand they may have selected another candidate, the extended time and effort invested by applicants at this final stage warrant a response.

I suspect this job posting wasn't legitimate. The company does research, and I think they use job postings to get candidates to do their assessments for research purposes. It seemed odd that after applying to over 50 jobs, I got a call the very next day expressing interest. They asked me to come in the following day for an assessment. This involved tasks like formatting an Excel workbook, which included basic operations like adding comments, filtering, hiding rows, and changing column order. There was also a matching game where you had to find things that didn't match, possibly numbers. Then there was a question asking to put things in a sequence. Finally, a scenario question where I had to prioritize tasks and explain how I'd handle them. Unsurprisingly, they got their 'data,' and I wasn't hired. I'm frustrated about being used for their research. I believe this job is fake and should be flagged.

It was professional overall. I got an email to schedule a phone screening, and during the call, the HR person asked me about my background, my previous responsibilities, and for specific examples. This was followed by an assessment that tested my Excel and logic skills, which wasn't too hard. The only tricky part was the instructions from the HR person; I suspect they were intentionally unclear to see if I could follow oral directions. The HR person didn't specify what I needed to do, just vaguely pointed and said something like 'there's a sheet over there.' Definitely ask questions if you're unsure about what's being asked.
