I had a virtual chat with the hiring manager first, then I talked to the current showroom manager and after that, the regional manager. It wasn't too hard, pretty straightforward. They mostly wanted to know about my past sales and showroom experience.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter reached out and we scheduled a zoom interview for the next week. They went over typical topics. They seemed surprised by my lack of direct sales experience when I described my work history, which was weird since my LinkedIn and resume were clear. They still moved me to the next interview with the showroom manager. I met with them in person the following week. They asked the same questions as the recruiter and were also surprised by my lack of sales experience. The next day, I got a canned response saying they were passing. It was confusing since they reached out to me first. I guess they didn't actually look at my job history. It felt like a waste of everyone's time. The generic, repetitive questions weren't impressive. The people were nice, but the responses felt canned and impersonal.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was really smooth and I felt like the recruiting team was organized and professional. I enjoyed the communication and got to speak with management from regional all the way up to inter showroom management. The team was welcoming and asked good questions during the interview. It was a professional setting and I felt like it was a strong interview process.
