It was a 3 round interview process: first a video interview with the talent acquisition specialist, then a video interview with the director of customer service, and finally an in-person interview with the director of training (which I never got to). The interviewers were nice, asked standard questions, and they moved quickly between steps, so the process didn’t feel like it was being dragged out. Quick process, virtual interviews with real people were a plus. But, the second interviewer, the director of customer service, didn't show her face on camera even though I was visible. Why not just call instead of doing a virtual interview? Because of that, I left with a different impression of the company. I later got an email saying they had hired another candidate. It all worked out in the end. No offer was made.

This was a pretty different interview process. They reached out to me, but then seemed surprised by my experience and current role/company. I feel like the recruiting team should figure out what candidates they want before inviting them to apply and interview. It's dismissive when the hiring team seems taken aback by your experience or how it relates to the role. Also, there's not much prep work for the candidate going into the interview. Usually, you expect them to ask questions, but here, it felt more like they wanted me to already know what I wanted to ask or talk about. Plus, when I was invited to apply, I didn't get the role information directly and had to find it myself. That's okay, but it could have been a problem if a candidate wasn't as prepared.

I went through three interviews in a week: one in person, one over the phone, and one on Zoom. They seemed to like me and asked for my professional references. After that, they ghosted me for two weeks and ended up going with another candidate. I had to call the recruiter three times to get an answer. I wouldn't recommend this company because they strung me along for three weeks, assuring me they liked me and that my skills fit, even though I had turned down another offer. I called on the start date they gave me only to find out I wasn't selected. Their low reviews are for a reason.

After putting my resume on Monster, a recruiter reached out. We spoke, and she told me about the company before setting up my first interview with the Director of Customer Service. That interview went really well, and we talked for over an hour about standard interview topics. The following week, I went in for a paid experimental day where I worked with different employees. I was scheduled to meet with four people for interviews, but two weren't available, so I had to go back later that week to meet with them. In total, I met with three customer service managers, an HR representative, and the company president, in addition to the experimental day. It was quite a process, but everyone was really friendly and professional.
