The overall interview process was pretty straightforward and not too difficult. It consisted of 5 stages in total. Initially, there was an online assessment which consisted of 30 multiple-choice questions and 3 coding problems. Candidates who successfully passed this stage were then invited to proceed with the rest of the interview stages. The second stage involved a pen-and-paper coding test where we had to solve 3 coding questions. We were grouped into pairs, and about 8 people were selected from each group. After that, we had a Technical round where they asked basic C and C++ coding questions, including how to swap two numbers without using a third variable, and questions on OOPS concepts. The next stage was a Technical Managerial Round, and the final stage was an HR round.

I first had an online assessment with aptitude and 3 coding questions (easy to medium). After that, there was an in-person process where each round was an elimination round. The first round had DSA questions on paper (3 easy to medium questions, and you had to solve one). The second round was a technical interview with questions on C++, Java, OOPS, DBMS, OS, and CN. The third round was a managerial interview with questions on projects and behavioral questions. Finally, there was an HR interview asking about why Visteon, my future goals, family and educational background, and hobbies.

Technical Coding

First round was an OA, which went well. Second round was a DSA round, which was good and felt like LeetCode easy. Third round was a technical interview where they were looking for someone with a strong electronics background. Software skills weren't focused on much. I was rejected because my knowledge of IOT was low.
