This was the longest interview process ever. The first phone interview was in Oct 2016. I had 3 different phone interviews between Oct and Dec 2016. Communication was terrible, they would say they'd call next week and then 3 weeks later I'd get a response after I emailed them. Final phone interview was mid Dec 2016, they said I'd hear back by end of Dec. By the second week of Jan, I emailed them. I waited because of the holidays, but still no response. Emailed again end of Jan. Second week of Feb they finally emailed asking me to come in for an interview and asked for my availability for the next week. My week was already scheduled and I live out of state. I explained this and gave specific dates/times I was available. They emailed back trying to schedule me on days I wasn't available, trying to get me to come in at 8am on a Wednesday. I explained again that it wouldn't work coming from out of state and I didn't have that date. They kept pushing for days I wasn't available. I got frustrated and let them know I wasn't moving forward. Never seen a company less organized with recruiting. Hope no one else experiences this.

I went through 5 phone interviews over a 3-month period. About 4 weeks after the last phone call, I had a face-to-face interview round. This round consisted of 6 one-on-one meetings, a case study, and a panel/group presentation related to the case study. The interviews felt more like exams than conversations, and some interviewers came across as arrogant. I felt like they were trying to highlight my lack of internet/e-commerce experience, which I found strange. Despite the extensive interview process, I didn't get the job. I was informed my analytical skills weren't strong enough, and that the role was 90% analysis, which surprised and annoyed me since I thought it was more holistic product management. My advice to candidates is to prepare like you would for consulting interviews. My advice to VistaPrint recruiters is to be upfront about the required background (finance/consulting/IT) to avoid disappointment.

I first had a chat with HR, then I spoke with the head of the department where I would be working. They inquired about my background and my reasons for wanting to join their company.
