I had two phone interviews and then one in-person interview. The first phone interview was just with HR and was pretty basic. Then I had a second phone interview with the two hiring managers where they asked me a bunch of questions mainly about my past experience. The in-person interview was an all-day thing where I met with the hiring managers and team members. They also gave me some case studies to work on. It took a bit longer than I expected for them to make a decision, but they kept me in the loop the whole time and gave me feedback.

Behavioral Case

I went through 3 rounds of interviews for the Marketing Specialist position at Vistaprint. The first round was an HR screening where they asked basic questions about my resume and my motivation for the role. Round 2 involved an interview with the hiring manager, lasting about an hour, covering my resume and a case study discussion. The final round was an onsite interview, which consisted of speaking with four different people for an hour each. These conversations focused on my resume, my interest in the position, and another case study discussion. Although I received a rejection a week later with specific feedback on areas for improvement, I was satisfied with the overall interview process. I received timely updates after each stage and constructive feedback. The main downside was the intensity of four consecutive hours of interviews, which could be tiring.

We started with a 30-minute call with HR about my background. Then, I had a quick second phone chat with the hiring manager, who wanted to know more about my experiences than what was on my resume. The last part was an in-person interview that took about 2.5 hours. It began with a 30-minute talk with a department manager, followed by a 1-hour case study. The final hour was split: 30 minutes talking with someone I'd work with, and the last 30 minutes (or less) meeting again with the hiring manager.
