Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Virtua Health.
Office Assistant
I applied online and got a call for an interview, which went well. HR said I'd have a second interview in a week or two and gave me her contact info in case I didn't hear back. That's when things went south. I contacted HR because I didn't get the call I was expecting. HR finally said I'd get an update by the end of the week, but I didn't. I reached out again, and still nothing. HR should really keep their word and respond, not leave people hanging.
- The team was interested in learning more about you.
Office Assistant
It's a pretty straightforward process. You should watch some YouTube videos to get ready. Think about some scenarios from your past that you can talk about. Dress in professional attire. Importantly, you need to come across as a real person in the conversation, not robotic.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you share your previous experiences?
Administrative Assistant
They asked me about my past experience in detail and was friendly the whole time. The interviewer seemed genuinely interested in me and the interview, and took the edge off of the nervousness that comes with them.
- Can you tell me about your previous administrative work experience?
