So, I had this first chat with the PMO Manager, and then another with the HR CoS. It was pretty chill, not gonna lie, but they were really digging for specific traits like being tenacious and having a keen eye for detail. The questions were all about handling difficult PMs, my background with the value delivery framework (VDF), and my experience in budgeting and finance. They also wanted to know about my time management and prioritization skills. Basically, they're looking for straight-up answers that show you're resilient and can handle yourself, not someone who easily gets frustrated. You gotta be able to report to senior folks and know how to put together MSRs and SteerCo reports. Presentation skills are a plus, and you need to be able to work under pressure.

I did an exercise specific to the job where I tackled a task mirroring the role's responsibilities. Following that, I completed an online numerical reasoning test. Then, there was an interview where I faced more job-related tests. After several hours of assessments, I finally interviewed with the managers. The interviewers were quite friendly and relaxed, asking questions about how I align with the company values.

The whole process took about 2 months. There was one competency-based interview with two senior managers, and then another CV-based interview with one senior manager and the Head of the team. The team seemed really friendly. They gave me feedback even though I didn't get the job.
