First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Virgin Media.
Sales Advisor
I applied online and got contacted about 10 days later to book a telephone interview. The first one was with someone whose English wasn't great, so it was hard to get my points across. After a second interview with a fluent speaker, I was invited for an in-store interview. However, I was sent to the store twice and the manager didn't know I was supposed to come. The third time, I called the store beforehand to make sure they were expecting me. The interview itself was in a cramped space at the back of the store, and I felt a bit too formal in a suit.
- Can you explain how Virgin Media differentiates itself from its primary competitors?

my exiting interview I had just a few days ago, a lot of question related on past experience, Virgin Media product and job details... I did answer all the question and love the idea of having a chance to work and sales their product. Waiting for a positive response on my interview
- Why do you think you'd excel in this position
Sales Advisor
Got referred by a family friend. Received an email link to an online application, filled it out, and then was asked to book a phone interview. This phone interview lasted about 20 mins, with basic questions and a quick sales role-play where I had to pretend to be from a holiday company and call back a customer interested in a weekend trip. After that, I was invited for a face-to-face interview, which was about 45 minutes. It involved answering questions about the role and how I'd approach it, plus another sales role-play selling a Virgin Mobile tariff to a caller.
- If it's been a really slow day and all calls have been inquiries or difficult customers, how would you handle that while still taking calls?
