Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Virgin Media.
Business Analyst
The process was pretty simple. It started with a situational judgement test, followed by a one-hour interview. The questions were typical for a BA role. Two people interviewed me: the Lead BA and the person currently in the role who is moving to a different team.
- Can you describe your process for analyzing a project you've been involved in?
Business Analyst
Had a multiple choice business scenario test on a website. It had different scenarios and a series of short videos. All answers were kind of vague and hard to pick between, like not much difference.
- What's the right time to leave work?
Business Analyst
It was pretty simple, a face-to-face interview where they assessed my competencies. I felt it was relaxed. I had applied through a recruiter. Like they said, the first interview had tons of questions about what I'd done before, and then some technical questions followed. The second round was with the same people, and this time it was more technical, asking about SQL and project management. The recruiter called me a few days later to say I'd passed and that HR would be in touch for the next steps.
- Can you share details about your past work experiences?
- Were there any logic-based questions?
- What technical questions were asked?
