Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was really fun and engaging. It felt informal, but I learned a lot about the company and KPIs. It was inclusive and had some great staff. It brought out my creativeness and encouraged me to be imaginative and show initiative that could be useful in sales.

I was booked for a 1:30 phone interview but it didn't happen until 2:30 because they didn't book it correctly. The interviewer kept saying 'umm' which was weird. I passed and was invited to an assessment day. We had to wait for another candidate who was 30 minutes late. We did a group activity in the canteen for about 25 mins, then a role-play interview. After that, we waited another 30+ mins. I was told I was unsuccessful because I didn't ask enough questions in the role-play, even though I have no telesales experience. They said I did amazing in the group activity. I felt it was ridiculous to fail me on not asking enough questions when training is provided for that. I didn't even get to discuss my skills because you don't get a face-to-face interview if you don't pass the assessments.

The interview process involved a 30-minute scenario-based interview focused on selling a holiday, followed by a 30-minute get-to-know-you and competency-based questions session. The questions were pretty straightforward and basic, including inquiries about Virgin Media's core values and previous experience, with many 'tell me a time when' questions.
