It was a long interview process, spanning 7 weeks. There were quite a few deadlines for feedback that were missed. It involved multiple interviews, travel, and some significant exercises. The final interview felt a bit odd, rushed, and not very pleasant. In the end, I didn't get the job because of something on my CV (my 18-month freelancing period), which makes me wonder why the process was so long.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Basic questions about project management were asked, but they felt too elementary for a senior role, as these are usually standard knowledge.

I had a great experience interviewing with Virgin. The team was welcoming and professional, and they were clear about what to expect during the process. Communication was good, they gave feedback quickly, and they seemed genuinely interested in my background and skills. It felt like an open and collaborative vibe. Interviewers took their time answering my questions, which helped me understand the role and company culture better. It made me feel valued and gave me a good impression of Virgin as a supportive place to work. I'd recommend their interview process.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was quite long and the internal recruiter kept ghosting me, not getting back to me when they said they would. The contract also changed from permanent to temporary, which was a bit unsettling. They also changed what they expected in the interview process, and I ended up having 3 interviews. One of them was in person and included a presentation that took me 2 hours to get ready for. Even though I felt like the interview went well and the people were friendly, they didn't end up offering me the job. I asked for feedback but never got any, which I think is pretty bad considering I spent months on this, traveled a few hours for the interview, and was patient the whole time.
