Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Virgin Atlantic.
Customer Service Representative
The interview was about an hour long and conducted by two managers. They were friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere. The interview started with a role-playing exercise, followed by a series of questions asked over Teams. The questions focused on my past work experience. The job is remote but involves some office time, which is not feasible for me due to my location.
- Can you share an example from your previous experience where you went above and beyond for a customer?
Customer Service Agent
The online application is pretty lengthy, plan for about 45 minutes to finish it. About two weeks after submitting the online application, I got an email about an online interview that I had to do within 24 hours. The online video interview itself was okay, but my phone kept freezing and lagging, and I kept getting disconnected from the interview. Just make sure you're in a place with really good internet.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
Customer Service Associate
First there was an on-line questionnaire, then a telephone interview, and after that a formal interview with 4 managers. It was a group interview with other candidates, and we had role playing, a written test, and a maths test. Finally, there was a personal interview with two managers.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult situation and how you got out of it.
