I applied online on June 24th, 2016. The first step was a phone interview, and then I had a face-to-face interview on August 1st, 2016, at their office in Crawley, West Sussex, UK. This in-person part included a 15-minute written assessment and then a one-hour meeting with three interviewers. They mentioned the decision would be quick, but I didn't hear back for two months. I emailed them a week later, and they said it was taking longer due to high volumes but I would be informed of the outcome. Two weeks after that, I emailed recruitment again, needing a response because I was waiting on another offer. Still no response for two months. It's really bad that candidates who make it to the final stage don't get any feedback or even a response. I wonder what the company culture is like if this is how they treat people. I had high hopes, but now I feel like I avoided a bad situation, as another reviewer mentioned a similar experience. This kind of behavior doesn't look good for them, and I'm not sure how much they care about their reputation. I wonder if Virgin Atlantic will respond to this or just ignore it like usual.

Applied through LinkedIn and got an email from HR soon after to set up a phone interview. The interviewer called me a day early because HR gave him the wrong time. We chatted for twenty minutes about the role. HR called within two hours to invite me for a face-to-face interview the next week. I gave them some dates, but then heard nothing even after I emailed them three times for an update. They said they were pausing the hiring because someone had surgery. Weeks later, they emailed to say they had hired internally. What a waste of my time.
