The recruiter who handled my call was neutral, asked basic questions. My issue was how it was handled afterwards. I was ghosted for a long time, then received a generic response upon following up multiple times. I asked for feedback as to why I wasn't a fit, then radio silence again. not a good candidate experience, coming from someone who works in talent acquisition - you never want to close the door or burn a bridge with someone you may cross paths with in the future.

I had a really nice time with the interview process! The recruiter was super friendly and kept me in the loop the whole way. Every part of it felt really clear, purposeful, and well-thought-out, which was a nice change from some other interviews that just seem to go on forever or repeat themselves.

Viral Nation’s process is top-tier: organized, empathetic, efficient, and reflective of company values.

The interviewer was easy to talk to and they reviewed some details about the role. I wasn't able to get a full picture of the role after asking about work/life balance and the team, but I get that those questions might be better for the department head. Overall, I'd say it was a negative interview, but not in a rude way. Also, the questions I had weren't really being answered and I didn't feel like the experience I was explaining was being properly understood because of a disconnect between my understanding of the role and the interviewer's.
