It was a really chill and straightforward interview. I got a good feel for the company and its culture. The District Manager was super easy to talk to and a fantastic representative for the company. I actually wish she could be my store manager!

I interviewed with a store manager and a district manager for a new store. Then I interviewed with a store manager of another store. Then I interviewed with the new store manager and she told me that there were 3 people being interviewed and that they only needed 2. This whole process went on for a month and half and was a complete waste of time. I got an email from corporate instead of a phone call or email from an actual person.

I applied online and heard back about two weeks later to set up an in-person interview. The first time I went, I had to wait around 30 minutes past my appointment time. Then, the interview was about an hour long. The store manager asked me a bunch of questions and kept saying how great of a fit I'd be for their team. He then asked me to come back in a few weeks to interview with the district manager when she was in town. So I returned for the second interview with her. I had to wait about an hour past my scheduled time because she wasn't there yet. Then, I interviewed with her for about an hour. She also mentioned how well I'd fit in at this store and any of their stores around. She said she was eager to find the perfect spot for me in the company. I also told her I had another offer, but was trying to postpone it because Vineyard Vines was my top choice. She asked me to hold off on the other offer as long as possible so she could figure out exactly where to put me. It's now been 6 months, and I still don't have a job with them. We went back and forth via email for about two months. I eventually stopped responding because I couldn't wait any longer for the other offer. Clearly, I wasted a lot of time, and I nearly missed out on my current job. This drawn-out process was handled very poorly. As a hiring manager, my team would never lead a potential employee on this long without an offer.
