Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at VINCI.
Functional Analyst
For a pre-hiring internship at Vinci Énergies' IT department. Very good process with different stages (HR, team lead). The interview format is about an hour with the team lead. Welcomed on-site.
- What are your expectations for your manager?
Systems Analyst
The interviewers seemed unsure about what to ask. While they could make the final hiring decision, they weren't very familiar with the day-to-day tasks, making it tough to grasp the job's actual demands. There was also confusion about which position I was interviewing for, as I didn't realize there were two openings instead of just one.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Databases?
- What experience do you have with government financial reporting?
- Could you describe your background in corporate financial reporting?
Functional Analyst
There was a call with the HR officer. Then, a physical interview with the direct manager and the N+2, which happened a week later. After that, an online personality assessment was done. A video call with the HR officer and the HR manager followed, three days later. Finally, a phone call confirmed the final decision for the job, one day after the video call.
- Could you tell us about your experience?
- Share with us who you are, what you enjoy doing in your free time, and what your personality is like.
- Have you ever worked with people from other countries before?
