Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Village Green.
Sales Consultant
It was a three step process. First was a phone interview with a corporate recruiter where they asked basic questions and gave an overview of the job and company. Second was an onsite interview with the Property Manager, who described the specific property and asked more detailed questions pertaining to the site. Third was a phone call with the Regional Sales Manager to discuss marketing strategies and situational questions.
- What makes you stand out from other applicants?
Sales Consultant
Super short process for me. I got reached out to by the property manager, who would have been my boss. We had a 2-hour chat, then I talked to a Regional Manager for an hour. The last thing was a phone chat with a Marketing Director. From the first contact to getting the offer, it was under a week.
- Can you tell me about the typical questions asked in a sales role?
- How do you maintain a positive and friendly demeanor?
- How important are first impressions in sales, and how do you make a good one?
Sales Consultant
It was a face to face thing. I talked with the area director and the marketing director for our region. We discussed my background in the industry and what I wanted to do moving forward.
- Did you have previous experience in property management?
