Software Development Engineer
I had a recruiter call through Senitor, followed by two separate interviews. It felt pretty informal compared to other interviews I was going through, and I was generally more comfortable. The questions were mostly about my experience and what I'm looking for, plus some basic programming questions. Nothing I really had to prep for.
- Why are you interested in leaving your current role for this opportunity?
Senior Software Engineer
Throughout the whole process, communication was really bad. I got conflicting information from different interviewers about their remote work policy, both current and future. That was just one of several issues that felt like red flags, suggesting bigger problems within the company.
- Can you tell me about an accomplishment you're particularly proud of?
Software Engineer
So, first I had a call with HR just to get things sorted, then I went in for two on-site interviews. The first on-site was more of a casual walk-through of the place and chatting with a couple of engineering managers about my background. The second on-site involved meeting with two different teams for some technical interviews. Honestly, the whole experience was pretty great; everyone I met was super nice and professional, which was really impressive. It was the first time I've interviewed somewhere where everyone was on point with being professional and nice.
