Project Manager
Interviews are tough during Corona, but Viessmann's process was a disaster. I had 5 interviews in total, 3 virtual and 2 in person in Frankenberg Eder. All were nice but unorganized. They promised me the job in the 4th interview. Then there was a last-minute meeting with the Head of Logistics, whose questions and attitude were disrespectful, and he advised against hiring me. The whole long process with a lot of effort felt unprofessional and the questions were repetitive, like we were going in circles. Only the HR person was friendly and seemed embarrassed by the managers' actions, offering me an alternative role.
- Can you present your resume?
- Introduce yourself for the role.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Project Manager
Initial call with HR, then 30 min video calls with 2 different managers from the department. It was uncomplicated and fast. Friendly and open conversation. They asked about my experience, expectations, motivation, etc.
- What is your previous experience with project management and the application of methodologies?
Project Manager
The interview process involved three rounds. The first round was a 30-minute introductory phone call for a brief back-and-forth introduction. The second round was a 3-hour interview with different people each hour. Two of these individuals would be people you'd work with directly or indirectly, and the last person was randomly selected to assess team fit. The third round was with HR, focusing on a brief review of previous conversations, a self-introduction, and then a discussion of contractual terms.
- Tell me about yourself, drawing on your past experiences.
