Product Owner
It was a really thorough and structured interview process, they made sure to tell us exactly what to expect and kept us in the loop. The hiring team was happy to answer any questions we had, gave us helpful feedback, and always got back to us quickly after each interview.

Customer Service Representative
Yesterday, I had an interview in Malta - G’Mangia with a CS Team Leader (who seemed to be around 20) and a Customer Service Manager. Both interviewers seemed to know their stuff. The interview was supposed to be 45 minutes but went way over, like 70+ minutes. They hit me with a ton of questions that felt way too hard for a customer service job. I've got over 20 years in customer relations, so I managed to get through all the competency questions and the role-play part okay. It makes me wonder though if they can actually spot good people or just stick to a script, or maybe they don't want to hire someone who's too good? I've done loads of interviews, even for airline pilot jobs, and they weren't this complicated. Honestly, these questions were just way too much for this job.
- Considering you're looking to switch careers, what's your motivation for this change?
- Could you demonstrate your customer interaction skills through a role-play scenario, and also complete a typing test?
- Please share an instance of a recent customer interaction that highlights your effective communication abilities.
QA Automation Engineer
The entire process lasted about three weeks. It started with an initial screening by HR, followed by a coding challenge. The final stage involved interviews focused on QA Automation, API testing, and a discussion about the challenge. The challenge took longer than anticipated due to the slow performance of the product being tested. The discussion about the challenge felt a bit subjective, with interviewers having strong opinions on their preferred automation approaches.
- Regarding the provided API endpoint URL, what specific API tests would you conduct?
PHP Developer
So videoslots had this pretty set up interview process. It started with HR giving me a ring for a phone screen. We chatted about my background, my PHP dev work, and like, where I saw myself going career-wise. After that went well, they had me in for a proper video interview with the senior devs. That's where they hit me with tech questions about PHP and also broader stuff about how we do software development, working in teams, and managing projects.
- What's your origin story with PHP development?
