Inside Sales Representative
I was contacted by a 3rd party recruiter for a phone interview first. Then, another phone interview with a sales manager. Finally, I had a 5-person interview back-to-back in 3 hours. It felt like a waste of time. I arrived early and the receptionist didn't know who was interviewing me. I waited, and eventually, someone came to get me. He took me to his office and asked generic questions. After that, I interviewed with 4 other people for 30 minutes each, and they asked the same questions. Half of them had never done phone sales before and were questioning me, even though I have over 5 years of high-volume sales experience. I'm really pissed off I took the time to come here for this interview. It was a horrible experience. I wouldn't have accepted an offer even if it was made. I do not recommend this place.
- How do you see yourself fitting into this role?
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your strengths in sales?
Inside Sales Representative
3 interviews were conducted. The first was with HR. Then I met with the sales manager, and finally the director. The questions weren't too difficult, particularly the ones from the director. The work culture is very relaxed, and it's so quiet you could hear a pin drop across the whole building. I've never seen a sales department operate so silently. Everyone seems to be trying to trick their bosses to keep their jobs, which makes the salary understandable.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Inside Sales Representative
This interview process could take weeks to prepare for. You'll go through multiple rounds, both over the phone and in person. Be aware that they tend to ask a lot of the same questions repeatedly. They seem to focus more on finding the right talent than on the length of your resume.
- What strategies do you employ to avoid losing existing business?
- What are your long-term career aspirations beyond this position?
