Software Engineer Intern
You start with a recruiter call, then a hiring manager chat where we'll go over your resume, talk about projects you've worked on, how you approach problems, and ask some basic SDE questions covering fundamentals, coding, and system understanding.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Have you ever encountered a difficult situation, and if so, how did you handle it?
Software Engineer
The interview process started with a phone screen, followed by a technical interview. The technical interview covered a wide range of topics, basically any tech acronym you can think of. It seems like they're looking for candidates who already know everything they use, rather than someone willing to learn new things. So, it's probably not worth applying unless you already have extensive experience in all the required areas, otherwise, you'd just be wasting your time.
- Java-specific questions
- SQL questions
Software Engineer
This was one of the worst interview experiences I've ever had. The interviewers were disorganized and acted condescending. One interviewer asked me a brain teaser to see my thought process. Another interviewer didn't know what a SQL join table was and got annoyed when I tried to explain it. I knew by the end of the interview that I would never want to work there. I never heard from them after the onsite, not even a rejection email. Work here if you like being surrounded by brogrammers.
- Could you estimate the number of gas stations in California?
