First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vets for Pets.
Receptionist
They did a good job with the initial phone call, then we had an in-person meeting. We talked about the job role and my understanding of the customers. Two people were present for the interview, and we discussed my CV and anything relevant to the job.
- Can you describe a time you dealt with a challenging customer?
Receptionist
The interview went well. They asked about my past work experience, why I want this job, what I'm looking for salary-wise, my education background, and my hobbies. They also explained details about the staff, what's needed for the role, opportunities for growth within the company, what clients expect, the salary offered, how management works, and the benefits and bonuses available.
- How would you describe your communication skills?
Receptionist
The interview was pretty relaxed. They asked a few questions and it was over in about 30 minutes. I was interviewed in one of the consultation rooms by a more senior staff member. They asked about 5 questions and then asked if I had any questions for them.
- Tell me about a time you had to handle a difficult customer and what steps you took.
