Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vetcove.
Partner Account Manager
So I had a 20-min phone screen with the recruiter, then they set up another call with HR. It felt a bit weird because they asked the same stuff as the recruiter. The interviewer seemed to be just going through the motions, like maybe they already picked someone. The job posting was taken down pretty quickly after that.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in Vetcove?
Partner Account Manager
Had a quick intro call to see if I was qualified and interested, then met with the VP, CEO, and someone I'd work with closely. Mostly focused on whether I'd fit in, not so much on my skills.
- What aspects of your previous job did you find unsatisfactory?
Account Manager
I had an initial phone screen which I thought went really well. Then I was scheduled for a follow-up call where I was asked a bunch of other "personality" questions that were pretty similar to the initial screening. I didn't get much info about the team or the actual job. I thought this conversation also went really well, we were both enthusiastic. A few days later, I got a rejection email with no feedback. It was a strange process to have two screenings without even meeting a hiring manager?
- Can you share an experience from your personal or professional life where you achieved something you're particularly proud of?
