The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a chat with the hiring manager, followed by three team matching interviews with senior engineers or an architect. The interviews covered technical topics, design, and scenarios. A bit of a letdown was after all the interviews when the recruiter asked for at least three professional references. They then got back saying they couldn't reach the references provided, even though my references confirmed they had already spoken with them and given feedback. I gave a few more references, and surprisingly, the hiring manager then asked these professional references to apply for the same role and explore opportunities with the company. This felt like a conflict of interest and was disheartening. Also, the recruiter didn't follow up much after the interviews about a potential offer, which isn't great.

I only got through 2 rounds with the hiring manager because the job wasn't quite right for me. But both interviews were really good experiences. HR and the hiring director were really thoughtful and thorough. They asked questions and had conversations about technical skills, problem-solving, and leadership. They were both engaging and friendly. The hiring director was very open and direct, which was great.

Had a phone screen with HR first. Then, there were 3 onsite interviews back-to-back with the hiring manager, the help desk manager, and their boss. Each interview was about 45 minutes. They seemed to really care about personality fit along with skills and background. The questions weren't too tough, and they shared a lot of info about the work environment, culture, and travel expectations.

Behavioral

The interview process was pretty standard. It involved one long day of meetings with about 4 or 5 people from the company. Setting up the first phone call took a while because the HR recruiter wasn't very good at following up, which was really disappointing as you wouldn't know where you stood unless you kept chasing her. While the team members were nice, they seemed a bit unorganized. I had to move on because the whole process was dragging on too long.
