Graduate Program
It started with an online assessment, then an interview with HR, and finally an assessment center. It was quite challenging because of the high number of applicants, but the questions were pretty standard. You really need to prepare well and show your passion during the interview, as they're looking for ambition and drive, along with good communication skills.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Graduate Program
I applied online, then did a Raven's test with shapes and patterns, followed by a personality test. After that, I had a video interview, and then an online Teams meeting with a recruiter where we talked about the personality traits I showed. Later, I went to an assessment center in Aarhus. At the assessment center, we did 2 group case studies and 2 individual cases.
- Describe a time you had to adapt your approach to include people from different backgrounds, detailing the situation, your actions, how you adapted, and the final result.
- Share an instance where you got tough or awkward constructive feedback from an authority figure. Explain the situation, your reaction, the outcome, and what you learned.
- Tell about a time you faced a problem at school or work where the path forward wasn't clear due to missing or conflicting information. Describe what you did and what happened.
Graduate Trainee
A woman with a strong British accent conducted a 45-minute phone call where she typed everything I said into a computer, which felt unnatural because she had to fill in specific fields for each question. She asked about my salary expectations at Vestas, for an example of dealing with someone working against me, where I'd like to work at the company, and a situation where I had to change/improve my soft skills, among others. At the end, I wasn't called back because when she asked if I had questions, I asked something that was available on their website, which they interpreted as a lack of motivation.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with someone who was working against you.
- Can you share an instance where you had to adapt or enhance your soft skills?
- How long would you be willing to work in a country that isn't your own?
