Software Engineer
Interviewed as Senior .NET Engineer, points based on that. The whole interview process is heavily about TDD. You can ask for permission to use Google during the coding test if you need it.
- Write a C# console app using TDD to replace occurrences of S1 with S2 in string S. Input: S = "abababa", S1 = "aba", S2 = "a". Output: "aba". Explanation: Replace "aba" at [0,2] and [4,6] in "abababa" with "a" to get "aba". Rules: S max length 50 chars. No spaces in strings, ignore if present. Alphanumeric chars only; no special chars. S, S1, S2 cannot be null or empty; handle gracefully. S1 length cannot be greater than S length.
- Discuss basic SQL queries, specifically Joins, Group By, and related concepts.
Software Engineer
It was a very technical interview process, focused on marketing. There were three levels of interviews: an aptitude test, a group discussion, and a technical round. The whole process took place in one day. The aptitude test had three categories: reasoning, verticurl knowledge, and general aptitude. The group discussion covered marketing-related topics. The technical round assessed technical knowledge.
- Can you tell us about HTML?
- What do you know about CSS?
- What is your understanding of verticurl?
Software Engineer
Round 1 was an Aptitude and Technical round. For Round 2, they conducted a group discussion where everyone got a chance to share their thoughts. For my batch, they asked about digital marketing and traditional marketing. For the next round, the shortlisted candidates had to attend a face-to-face HR round.
- Were you asked technical questions related to the programming languages listed on your resume?
- Did they ask general questions to assess your communication skills?
- Were there questions about digital marketing and traditional marketing?
