The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager, then an online assessment, followed by a 1-hour technical interview. After that, there was a superday which included a 1-hour behavioral interview and another 1-hour technical interview.

Coding Technical

The interview process was a bit of a journey. I applied for Software Engineer II, but they saw my experience and bumped me up to SE IV, then senior during the interviews. In the end, they rejected me, saying they were actually looking for an SE II, not a senior right now. There were long gaps of 2-4 weeks between each interview round. I talked to different people each time, and it wasn't always clear who was managing my application.

  • Could you write a Java program to simulate hide-and-seek, adhering to 90s Java conventions and testing your knowledge of dynamic arrays, the standard random library, and object-oriented programming in a C++ style? This task is about as difficult as a CS102 assignment.
