Coding Technical Behavioral

Started with an online assessment on data structures and algorithms. After passing that, I had a technical phone screen with an engineer where we talked about my projects and I solved a medium coding problem. Then, the final round had two 45-minute interviews: one on systems design/technical stuff and another on behavioral fit. Recruiters were quick to respond, and I got the offer about a week after the final round.

Coding System Design

The interviewer was 9 minutes late. I was told the interview would be one leet code coding problem, a small system design, and then some other questions. I worked on the coding problem and got a working solution. With about 21 minutes left in the hour, the interviewer ended the interview abruptly, asking if I had any questions, instead of asking the system design question. While I understand interviewers might have expectations even with a working solution, the interview format should be followed, including the system design part. Changing the format midway seems arrogant. While the decision to move forward or make an offer is yours, a fairer process would be appreciated.

Started with a technical phone screen, then a full day with 3 technical interviews, a less technical manager interview, and lunch. There was some recruiter contact before and after. The team was okay, but the recruiters were really unprofessional and made it a bad experience. They ghosted me for a month after the technical screen, and though it was the holidays, an email would've been nice. Then, before the onsite, the recruiter sent an email about prepping, but the link didn't work. I emailed her directly with no reply. They mostly asked React questions, which I wasn't prepared for, and a heads-up would have been appreciated. I got a generic rejection email, which was rude considering the time I invested. A phone call or at least a direct email would have been better, but this way they probably ensured I couldn't follow up.
